Dr. Ricardo Leitao Guerra is an Ophthalmologist graduated from the Bahia’s Federal University (Salvador - Brazil) and board certified by the Brazilian Council of Ophthalmology (CBO). Board certified by the International Council of Ophthalmology (ICO) Basic Science & Optics and Refraction (2011), Clinical Science (2012) and Advanced Examination (2014), receiving the post-nominal acronym FICO (Fellow of the ICO). Medical & Surgical Retina Fellowship at Hospital São Rafael (Salvador - Brazil) from 2011 to 2014 and Member of the Brazilian Retina & Vitreous Society (BRAVS). Current acts as a Clinical and Surgical Retina Specialist at Hospital Santo Antônio - Obras Sociais Irmã Dulce collaborator at the Bahia’s Federal University Hospital (since 2011) and PhD Student at Bahiana’s School of Medicine and Public Health.
