Dr. Daniel Murphy, M.D., FAAFP assistant professor in the department of family and community medicine with Texas Tech University Health Science Center El Paso. Paul L. Foster School of Medicine. I received my Bachelor of Science in Molecular Bioscience and Biotechnology from Arizona State University. I completed medical school at St. Matthew’s University School of Medicine, and subsequently a family medicine residency at the University of Wyoming-Casper. After residency I pursued further training through a fellowship in primary care sports medicine through Texas Tech University Health Science Center El Paso. I currently serve as team physician for University of Texas El Paso and El Paso Locomotive FC. I am a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians and the American Medical Society for Sports Medicine.

Dr. Daniel Murphy research interests include concussion diagnosis and management.
