Dr. Paul L. Child Jr. is a Surgical & Restorative Prosthodontist and Certified Dental Technician. He maintains a private practice in the greater Salt Lake City area where he enjoys providing all aspects of dentistry, but primarily focuses on Prosthodontics, esthetics, implants, complex restorative, and all aspects of surgery using CBCT and digital dentistry. Dr. Child is the former CEO of CR Foundation (formerly CRA) where he lectured worldwide and conducted extensive research with Drs. Gordon and Rella Christensen. He is also the former Executive Vice President of BISCO Dental Products, a dental manufacturing company, where he was responsible for leading BISCOís U.S. operations, developing new dental products, conducting research, providing continuing education courses, and authoring articles, IFUís, etc. Previous to this, Dr. Child graduated with high honors from Case Western Reserve University School of Dental Medicine and completed a Prosthodontic residency at Lousiana State University School of Dentistry where he studied esthetics, implantology, and complex rehabilitation. He is also a Certified Dental Technician through the National Board of Certification in Dental Lab Technology, an honor that only a few dentists worldwide share. Presently, Dr. Child lectures nationally and internationally on all areas of dentistry, with an emphasis on new and emerging technologies, dental materials, implants, prosthodontics, adhesives, cements, ceramics, and oral surgery. He is on the editorial board of several journals (including the Journal of Esthetic and Restorative Dentistry) and maintains membership in many professional associations, societies, and academies.
