Biography

Professor Dr.Nasreen Sultana has completed her Medical graduation in 1993 from Chittagong University and post graduate course “Doctor of Medicine” in Nuclear Medicine from BSM Medical University, Bangladesh in 2005. She then joined in the National Institute of Nuclear Medicine and Allied sciences (NINMAS) (from 2006 to till date) under Bangladesh Atomic Energy Commission. She is a regular faculty member of NINMAS (www.ninmas.org). She is also the member of Board of Directors of AOFNMB (Asia Oceania federation of Nuclear Medicine and Biology). She became fellow of Asian Nuclear Medicine Board in 2016. She got ARCCNM award in 2004, 2006 & 2009. She completed her WFUMB fellowship award in Advanced Vascular Imaging in 2005 from Thomas Jefferson university and research Institute, Caracas, Venezuela .She took her fellowship training in Neuroimaging and molecular imaging from Utah University and Osaka Medical university in 2017.She has 21 international publications and 27 national publications so far.


Research Interest

Professor Dr.Nasreen Sultana research interests include Enhancing capacity of Neuroimaging & biomarkers: Application in early stage Alzheimer’s disease with Comorbidities. Application of E-ZIS software in SPECT brain perfusion study in Dementia. ApoE genotyping screening in High risk group of patient with MCI. Application of FDG PET CT in Brain imaging for of AD severity assessment.
