Dr. Belen Lopez Moya is a psychologist specialized in clinical psychology. After completing his psychology studies, she was able to access the specialty of clinical psychology at the Ramón y Cajal University Hospital in Madrid through the PIR opposition. After 4 years as a resident internal psychologist and gain experience in different devices, addressing different pathologies and difficulties in both child and adolescent population as adult, began working as a physician in different mental health centers of public health in Madrid. For several years she worked at the Ramón y Cajal University Hospital and later at the University Hospital 12 de Octubre. She is currently performing his clinical work at the Santa Cristina University Hospital, in a specific unit of eating disorders, a reference center for the treatment of these pathologies and the disorders associated with them. She is an associate professor in Health Sciences at the Autonomous University of Madrid and also supervises postgraduate students and residents. She finished his PhD studies at the University of Granada, with the social education program and the elderly. She has different postgraduate training: systemic family therapy, sexology and couples therapy, gerontology, immigration, psychodiagnosis, EMDR and different forms of psychotherapy. In addition to the clinical area is closely linked to teaching and research. She has participated as a teacher with different entities and universities, as well as in different research and congresses. Collaborate with some media in the dissemination of knowledge related to psychology that can help the general population.
Dr. Belen Lopez Moya research interests include Trauma, attachment disorders, personality disorders, eating disorders, disorders related to impulsivity, addictive disorders with and without substance, emotional regulation, mindfulness, affective and anxiety disorders.
