Dr. Zoi Zoupanou received her Doctorate of Philosophy from the Department of Psychology at University of Surrey and completed her Master in psychological research methods at the University of Exeter. She completed her BSc in Psychology at University of Athens, and earned a one year Diploma from the University College London. She has published articles in peer -reviewed journals. She is examined whether work recovery or detachment from work is affected by the relationship between ‘work ethic’ or beliefs employees hold and the role of work interruptions. By studying how employees detach from work is critical to understand the mechanisms fostering occupational recovery post work. Dr Zoupanou has a special interest in the role of factors such as work interruptions, work rumination and work beliefs in recovery post work and psycho-physiological well-being.
