Mr. Mahendra Vikram Singh Rajawat is working as Research Scholar at Amity University, Noida. He is pursuing his Ph.D jointly from ICAR- Indian Agriculture Research Institute, New Delhi and Amity Institute of Microbial Biotechnology, Amity University, Noida. Earlier he has completed his Master in Science in Microbiology with good academics. He also served as JRF at Indian Institute of Technology, New Delhi (IITD) for 2 years and SRF at ICAR-Indian Agricultural Research Institute, New Delhi for 5 years. He has developed bacterial liquid inoculants, including Zn, K, P and NPK providing formulations for integrated nutrient management of various crops. He has developed spectrophotometric and plate assay for estimation of K in liquid medium and rapid screening of potash solubilizing bacteria respectively. He has deposited several 16S rRNA gene sequences to NCBI Genbank and 173 cultures at NAIMCC. He has research interest and expertise in the field of Agricultural and Soil Microbiology, Enzymology, Plant-Microbe interaction, Development of liquid Bio-fertilizer, Method development. He has filed 02 patents and developed several technologies on liquid bio-fertilizer, contributed by publishing research articles in this field and attended various International conferences to deliver the safe use of technology. Currently handling and working on development of microbial formulation and production of bio-inoculants for farmer’s use. He is also involved in several extension programme to aware farmers about benefit of bio-fertilizer and its application methodology for sustainable agriculture. Reviewer in lots of journal and Member of Association of Microbiologist in India (2011).
