Biography

Dr. Neerad C. Mishra obtained his PhD degree in Biochemistry from Kanpur University, India in 1992; following which he worked at Indian Council of Medical Research, Delhi, India till 1999. Dr. Mishra came to the United States for postdoctoral training at Lovelace Respiratory Research Institute, Albuquerque, NM in 1999 and later became Associate Staff Scientist in Immunology and Asthma Program in the same Institute. Dr. Mishra has more than 20 years of research experience in different areas of basic biomedical research including asthma, tobacco smoke exposure and respiratory toxicity, lung cancer, HIV and lung diseases. He obtained funding from the National Institutes of Health and other sources as well. Dr. Mishra has published his work in several peer-reviewed high impact journals.

Dr. Neerad C. Mishra research interests are Asthma, Allergic Diseases, Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease, HIV and Lung complications, Cigarette Smoke Exposure and Lung Development.
