Biography

Dr. Mark Perry FHEA is currently a Lecturer in Neuroscience at the University of Portsmouth where he is continuing his research into epigenetics. Previously he have lectured in a broad range of topics including (but not limited too); Neuropharmacology, Pharmacology, Immunology, and Molecular Biology. His teaching responsibilities have covered a broad range of subjects from A-level to PhD classifications (including clinical courses; MPHARM & MBBS).


Research Interest

The focus of Dr. Mark Perry FHEA research for the past 13 years has been the role of epigenetics in development and disease. During this time, I have produced high-impact and highly-cited publications, effective abstract submission & acceptance, and successful grant applications. In total, I have 23 published papers (Highest impact factor: JACI 12.485) and have generated ~£193,000 of independent funding from numerous funding bodies.
