Dr. Buket Askin is presently working as Assistant Professor Dr. at Kirklareli University, Turkey. She obtained her Ph.D. degree in Agricultural Faculty from Suleyman Demirel University, Isparta, Turkey. He had about 15 years of experience in research and extension. She has published over 20 research papers in peer-reviewed and reputed international and national journals. She has participated and presented papers in several international and national conferences/workshops. She is a member of Editor group of International Journal of Food Science and Biotechnology and reviewer of Food Processing and Preservation, Advancement in Medicinal Plant Research (AMPR), Journal of Food Measurement and Characterization, Selcuk Journal of Agriculture and Food Sciences, Engineering Science Journal, etc. She was invited lots of international and national conferences/workshops as a invited speaker.
Dr. Buket Askin research interests are Food Quality; Color Properties of Foods; Fruits and Vegetables; Storage and Drying Kinetics of fruits and vegetables; Drying Process; Fruit Juice Process.
