Dr. Mohamed Abdein was born in Sohag, Egypt, in 1978. Currently, Mohamed Abdein is a Lecturer of Biology and Genetics at Biology Department, Faculty of Arts and Science, Northern Border University (NBU), Saudi Arabia since 2010, a private Biology and Genetics, specializing in Quantitative Genetics, Genetic Engineering and Molecular Biology, Plant Breeding, Plant tissue culture, Prior to joining NBU, He worked as Lecturer and plant breeder at the Vegetable Breeding Department, Horticulture Institute, ARC, Giza, Egypt ten years. Mohamed Abdein having graduated June 2000 from the Genetics Department. Faculty of Agriculture, Assiut University of Egypt with a B.Sc. in Genetics. MOHAMED ABDEIN had the postgraduates from Genetics Department, Faculty of Agriculture, Mansoura University, Egypt the M.Sc., in Genetics, March 2005 and the Ph.D., in Genetics, September 2016. His main areas of research interest are Plant Breeding, Molecular Markers, Survey the Flora of Wild and Aromatic Plants.
Dr. Mohamed Abdein current research interests include the Use of Quantitative Genetics and Molecular; Markers to Improve the Yield and Qualities of Vegetable Crops; Plant Breeding for Disease Resistance and Environmental Stress.
