Dr. Aqleem Abbas received his MSc (Hons) and B.Sc (Hons) degree in Plant Pathology from the University of Agriculture, Pakistan. He was visiting lecturer in the Department of Plant Pathology at the University of Agriculture in 2016. He conducted a research on Nanoparticles and their antagonist activities against plant pathogens. He also completed a research on Potato leafroll virus (PLRV) and published his research in well reputed international Journal. He has several publications to his credit in peer-reviewed journals, and he is a reviewer for many national and international journals and a member of the Australian Society of Plant Pathology. Currently, Aqleem Abbas is a PhD student with the Plant Pathology, HZAU, Wuhan China. Aqleem has conducted research on various expects of plant and microbe interactions. His PhD research is about the usage of bio-control agents against plant diseases.
Dr. Aqleem Abbas research interests include plant diseases control through biocontrol agents, metagenomics, metatranscriptomics, plant-microbe interactions, plant biosecurity and plant product safety.
