Dr. Abdulwasiu’s Born in the serene city of Jos-Plateau State North Central Nigeria on the 11th of May 1988, Abdulwasiu Olawale Salaudeen is the youngest child from a family of five. He is a native of Omu Aran Kwara state Nigeria. He lost his dad some days to his second birthday which delayed his education not until he was six. Abdulwasiu attended Anointed private school Etobaba Jos, Nassarawa Baptist private school Jos, Mount Olive secondary school Jos and Baptist science grammar school Jos. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Industrial Chemistry from University of Abuja, Masters of Technology in Analytical Chemistry from the Federal University of Technology Akure, and his Ph.D in Analytical Chemistry from University of Abuja. He is currently a Researcher at the Department of Applied Mathematics (Chemistry option) at National Mathematical Centre, Abuja Nigeria. He was a mentor to the Nigerian team to the 48th and 50th international chemistry Olympiad in Tblisi-Georgia and Slovakia-Czech in 2016 and 2018 respectively. He is a member of Chemical Society of Nigeria. He is married with a son.
Dr. Abdulwasiu’s research interests are Waste Water Analysis; Assessment of Water for Irrigation; Waste Water Treatment; Environmental Analysis; Adsorption/Biosorption (Kinetics; Isotherm; Thermodynamics).
