Associate Professor Dr. Antonia Stoyanova, Ph.D was born in 1964. She graduated from the Language School in 1983. She graduated from the Higher Agricultural Institute in Plovdiv in 1990, having a master degree with a professional agronomist qualification in the subject "Tropical and Subtropical Agriculture". Since 1999 she worked as a researcher at the Experimental Station in irrigated agriculture and later she worked in Agricultural Institute, Stara Zagora, Bulgaria. In 2009 successfully defended a thesis on "Parameters irrigation of corn grown in the second agroclimatic group", in scientific specialty "Melioration (incl. Soil erosion and the fight against it)." Since 2012 began working as a lecturer in Trakia University, Faculty of Agriculture. Waging disciplines as "Melioration and reclamation technologies", "Erosion", "Fundamentals of Organic Agriculture" and others, shows solid agronomic and scientific training. She is Vice Chairman of the section "Agrobiology" and from 2013 to 2017 was a member of the board of the Union of Scientists in Bulgaria - Stara Zagora Branch. As a result of her research work she has published over 100 scientific publications in international scientific journals and collections. The main activity is in the field of land reclamation and land reclamation technologies. Research and applied research activity is related to the parameters of the irrigation regime in various crops under various types of irrigation. Analyzing the influence of irrigation, applying water-saving technologies, research of the environmental aspects of irrigation and fertilization of crops are the subject of research interest.
