Dr. Mahmoud Rezagholi was born in Iran – Tehran in 1962; lived in Sweden from 1989. He is a Swedish citizen; a married man and have one daughter not at home since 2016. He have studied in Tehran in 12 years and have a 4-year high school grades in mathematics-physics line from there. Now he is a lecturer in Economics at University of Gävel. In Sweden, he has studied in economics at master level in the University of Gävle and Uppsala University. He pursued his PhD from Uppsala University at the institution of Occupational and Environmental Medicine. His doctoral thesis is titled “Cost-Efficient Designs for Assessing Work-Related Biomechanical Exposures”. After that, he was course coordinator to the subject Macroeconomics and teacher to the course microeconomics in four years. He has also completed a postdoctoral research for two years at the Faculty of Health and Occupational Studies from University of Gävle. His research was in the field of occupational health economics addressing economic decision-making to improve the work environment and occupational health.
Dr. Mahmoud Rezagholi research interests are around economic evaluations of designs and programs for optimizing decisions to prevent work-related disorders and promote occupational health. The mentioned designs refer to exposure assessment studies, while the mentioned programs are about changing work environment and improving occupational health.
