Biography

Dr. Shahin Hassanpour is assistant professor of Physiology, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Sciecne and Research Branch, Islamic Azad University, Tehran, Iran. He has authored or co-authored more than 50 peer reviewed articles. He has the memberships with many Scientific Veterinary Associations. He presented numerous presentations and lectures in the fields of Veterinary Physiology. He is serving as an Editorial member and reviewer of more than 10 reputed journals.


Research Interest

Dr. Shahin Hassanpour research area is central food intake mechanisms in domestic fowls. Feeding behaviour regulates by a complex system by central and peripheral signals which interact to regulate food intake and energy expenditure. They are working on the identification of central appetite regulation pathways in poultry.
