Dr. Ashutosh Srivastava is a Teaching Associate (Plant Physiology) in the College of Agriculture, Rani Lakshmi Bai Central Agricultural University, Jhansi, India. He received his Ph.D. (specialization in Plant Physiology) from Punjab Agricultural University, Ludhiana, India. He qualified ICAR-NET in Plant Physiology conducted by Agricultural Scientists Recruitment Board (ASRB), New Delhi. He successfully completed online short courses on Fundamental of Agriculture, conducted by IIT Kanpur and Commonwealth of Learning (COL), Canada. He has more than seven years’ experience in research activities in the subject of stress physiology focused mainly on heat and drought tolerance in wheat and also associated with various project funded by NICRA and CIMMYT-Arcadia-USAID-ICAR at NBPGR, New Delhi. He is also received various recognition like Associate Young Scientist Award, Best Paper Award in an International Conferences. He has more than 25 publications to his credits including peer reviewed research articles, review articles, book chapters and popular articles. Besides, has two books to his credits published by Scientific Publication, India. He has been serving as an editorial board member of the national and international journals, besides he acts as reviewer to number of reputed journals. He has attended various International and National conferences, Seminars, Workshops and Trainings and presented his research works.
Dr. Ashutosh Srivastava Research interests mainly focus on abiotic stresses particularly drought and heat stress in crops. soil-plant-environment interactions, hydroponics.
