Dr. Kusum Sinha focuses on detection of biomarkers for early diagnosis of stroke and small vessel diseases. In addition, she is currently heavily involved in clinical trial to study the theraputic effects of new drugs in ischemic stroke . She has obtained her Ph.D. from AIIMS, India, where she researched novel role of antioxidents in acute ischemic stoke . As postdoctoral fellow at University of Toronto, Canada she investigated the axional dysfuction after spinal chord injury and other types of Neurotrauma in animals. She has also helped community as Pharmacist for eight years. During her Pharmacy career she led several community standardization efforts and initiative for medication management therapy and immunization of elderly population. Dr. Sinha has many publications of her research work in peer-reviewed journals in addition to publishing book chapter. She is reviewer for many journals in the field of pharmacy, pharmacology and neurology.
