Vaseemraja Shaikh done Bachelors of Science in Zoology from Shivaji University of Maharashtra State, India, (year 2005). After graduation, Vaseemraja Shaikh turned his interest to medical field and decided to make career in the field of Human Anatomy. Vaseemraja Shaikh completed post graduation (M. Sc. Medical Sciences) in Medical Anatomy from Dr. NTR University of Health Sciences (year 2008). After which he did PhD in Medical Anatomy from Maharashtra University of Health Sciences (year 2017). After his post graduation, he started working as a Tutor of Anatomy in PES Institute of Medical Sciences and Research. In year 2009 he moved to Khaja Bandanawaz Institute of Medical Sciences, and continued to work there as a Tutor of Anatomy. In the year 2012 he moved to Mauritius, he worked as an Assistant Professor in Anna Medical College and Research Centre, Mauritius up to year 2016, after which he again moved to India, where he worked as a Reader of Anatomy in Al-Badar Dental College. After his PhD in year 2017, he was offered a Faculty position by Texila American University, in Zambia, where he is currently working as an Assistant Professor and Head of Anatomy Department, Coordinator of Basic Medical Sciences Department, and Member of Academic Council. His teaching Interests are in Anatomy, Histology, Embryology, Radiological Anatomy and Surgical Anatomy.
Vaseemraja Shaikh Research Interest is in Anthropology, Morphology and Morphometry of Base of Skull Foramina, Developmental Anatomy, Forensic Anatomy, Radiological and Surgical Anatomy related to Human Skull and other bones.
