I am a Postdoctoral Fellow at the College of Pharmacy, University of Nebraska Medical Center, Omaha, NE, USA. He completed his PhD in Pharmaceutics (2016), from the UNMC, and M.S. in Industrial Pharmacy (2009) from St. John’s University, New York, USA. My research interests include designing of biocompatible polymer-based drug delivery systems for treatment of pancreatic cancer, liver fibrosis and medulloblastoma. The emphasis of my research is on detailed studies of the relationship between the structure of nanomedicine and their mechanism of internalization, subcellular trafficking, signaling, and therapeutic efficacy.
Dr. Virender Kumar resaerch intrests are preclinical in vitro and in vivo evaluation of anticancer therapeutics; orthotopic and ectopic animal models of cancer, liver diseases and fibrosis; hypoxia; multidrug resistance; pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics.
