Dr. Hima Bindu Dukka graduated from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, India with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) and completed her Periodontics Residency from Indiana University School of Dentistry, Indianapolis. Dr. Dukka also received a second Master’s Degree in Public Health in Epidemiology from Fairbanks School of Public Health, Indianapolis. Dr. Dukka is a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology and is currently working as an Assistant Professor at the University of Louisville School of Dentistry. Dr. Dukka has published articles in peer –reviewed journals on Bone Grafting, Regeneration and Dental Implants. She has also served as a reviewer for highly reputable journals such as Journal of Periodontology. Dr. Dukka has received many awards and has presented in National and International Meetings and Conferences. Dr. Dukka’s professional memberships include American Academy of Periodontology, American Board of Periodontology, American Dental Education Association, American Association for Dental Research and International Association for Dental Research. Dr. Dukka holds dental licenses in Kentucky and Indiana and is an active participant in local and regional dental organizations by volunteering and providing continuing education courses to dentists and dental hygienists.
