Artemis Giotsa is Associate Professor in Social Psychology at the Department of Early Childhood Education, Faculty of Education, Ioannina, in Greece. She has participated and conducted many national and cross-cultural projects in the field of Social Psychology especially on family relationships, interactions and family representations. Since 2008, she is working with IPARTheory and she has translated and adapted in Greek many Questionnaires on Acceptance Rejection concerning various stages of the lifespan (from Childhood to Aging). She has developed with Prof. Ronald Rohner the Early Childhood Acceptance Rejection Questionnaire (ECARQ) and she promotes international collaborations and projects in this field. She is the author of five books and editor of 12 books. She has published many articles in peer review journals and book chapters. She has participated with over 150 oral presentations in many international and national conferences. She is also the author of the psychometric scale “Family Roles Questionnaire” with cross-cultural validity published by the Cambridge University Press, awarded by the 2007 Ursula Gielen Global Psychology Book Award of the International Psychology Division (52) of the American Psychological Association. She has been awarded by the Untested Ideas as Outstanding Book Editor Award 2014. She has been elected as President (2016-2018) of the International Society of Interpersonal Acceptance Rejection (ISIPAR).
