Biography

Dr. Nidhish Tiwari completed medical school in New Delhi, India and moved to the USA to pursue his medicine residency and chief residency at Jacobi Medical Center followed by the fellowship in cardiology from Montefiore Medical Center, both under Albert Einstein College of Medicine at Bronx, New York, USA. He has been trained as level III Echocardiographer which implies mastery of novel and innovative cardiac imaging techniques. He is currently working as Assistant Professor at Albert Einstein College of Medicine and is also an Associate Director of Cardiovascular Service at North Central Bronx Hospital at Bronx, New York, USA. He has been given many awards for teaching medical students and residents. In a short period, he has been endowed with fellowships in prestigious organizations such as FACC (American College of Cardiology), FASE (American Society of Echocardiography) and FACP (American College of Physicians). He has published many peer-reviewed manuscripts, reviews and a book chapter. He is also on editorial board of many journals, invited faculty for international conferences, and involved in planning committee of the annual scientific meeting of New York chapter of American College of Physician (ACP).


Research Interest

Valvular heart disease, cardiomyopathy, cardiac imaging, clinical research, newer techniques in echocardiography.
