Dr. Mohamed Alaa Abdul Aziz Omar is an Egyptian heart surgeon, holds two doctorate degrees. One Medical Doctorate (MD-CTS) in Cardiothoracic Surgery from Suez Canal University in Egypt, Another Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Cardiovascular Sciences from Porto University in Portugal. Got the title as an Associate Professor of in his home university (on voluntary leave). Currently is a Postdoc fellow in Yong Loo Lin school of Medicine, National University of Singapore. Performed remarkable research work in top universities in Europe and Asia. Dr. Alaa is an active member of the European Association of Cardiothoracic Surgery (EACTS), and a member of the Society of Thoracic Surgeons (STS), USA. He has vast experience in many ambitious R&D research projects and cardiac surgical procedures.
