Dr. Mohammadreza Peyman, MD completed his fellowship in Pediatric Ophthalmology and Adult Strabismus at Kellogg Eye Center (University of Michigan) in June 2017. He studied medicine in Isfahan, Iran, finishing his degree in 2004. He elected to study ophthalmology in Malaysia’s premier University (University of Malaya). After that he completed a one-year fellowship in Pediatric Ophthalmology & Adult Strabismus and was employed as a faculty member for two years. But he ultimately decided to return to his native land where he has faculty positions at Isfahan University of Medical Sciences. Early in medical school, he found a passion and success in research, winning awards for presentations at international conferences in Berlin. He has published over 60 papers with almost 530 citations and received more than 12 prestigious national and international awards (In United States, Germany, Japan, China and…), the latest an ICO-Farabi Award for his strong scientific and research background, sponsored by German Ophthalmological Society. He is a member of editorial board and also has been selected as a referee and reviewer by several peer reviewed journals. He is also given numerous talks and presentations in international scientific events. He has been elected as head of Department Ophthalmology at Farabi Hospital, Isfahan University of Medical Sciences and also he is CEO and founder of Parsian Vision Science Research Institute.
