Dr. Pawan Kumar Singh is working at BVG Life Sciences Limited and holding the position of Vice President-R&D. He is responsible for translational research/herbal drug discovery and development of value added products/therapeutics; useful as preventive and curative solutions for human, veterinary and agriculture. He is accountable for designing and driving in-house R&D activities to develop world class innovative technologies and their Intellectual Property Protection. Earlier Dr. Singh was associated with NIF India (AB of DST, Govt. of India) as Scientist and HoD and during his tenure he initiated, and monitored in vitro, pre-clinical and clinical validation and value addition projects (150 ) at CROs/research institutions in the area of hypertension, tuberculosis, malaria, diabetes, cataract, asthma, epilepsy, liver disorders etc. He also had handled funded projects (20 ) as PI/Co-PI/PC/Co-PC/Coordinator in the field of human health and agriculture. Dr. Singh has experience of 17 years in Govt. research institutes (11 years) and industries (5 years) in the field of translational research, drug discovery, microbial and herbal technologies, traditional knowledge and grassroots innovations. Dr. Singh has developed various technologies, value added formulations for human and agriculture applications, published 50 research articles and filed patents. He is also involved in various academic activities such as reviewer, editorial board member etc. of various journals of repute. He has obtained MSc & PhD degree, and also acquired MBA degree. He also had completed certificate course in Health Research Fundamentals offered by National Institute of Epidemiology, Indian Council of Medical Research [ICMR].
