Biography

I am Dr.Brijesh Prajapat who is a citizen of India. I am 34 years old , born on 25th of june 1983. I am currently working as chief consultant pulmonary and critical care medicine in Sri Sai hospital, India. I graduated in medicine from university college of medical sciences (UCMS) ,Delhi in the year 2008 and then i finished my internship from GTB hospital ,delhi. I pursued my residency in medicine from vallabhai patel chest institute (VPCI) ,Delhi and finished it in the year 2012. I worked as chief intensivist in pentamed hospital ,Delhi in 2012-2013. Then i moved to Rajan babu institute of pulmonary medicine and tuberculosis (RBIPMT) where i worked as senior resident from 2013-2014. I started my doctorate in 2014 in pulmonary and critical care medicine at PGIMS,Rohtak,India and finished it in 2017. I am an active member of indian society of critical care medicine (ISCCM), Indian chest society (ICS), European respiratory society (ERS). I was awarded young scientist award in NAPCON 2016 for my research on OSA patients.


Research Interest

My areas of interest are sleep in critically ill patients, interventional pulmonology, mechanical ventilation and non invasive ventilation.
