Dr. Silvia Cerea is a Clinical Psychologist at the Department of General Psychology, University of Padua. She holds a PhD in Psychological Sciences. Her research interests mainly deals with the study of psychological risk factors for body image disorders and obsessive-compulsive disorders, with the final aim of developing innovative and evidence-based preventive interventions, as well as psychological treatments. She is also interested in the development and validation of self-report measures assessing clinically relevant psychological constructs, such as body image. She is also working in the field of sport psychology with a clinical approach and she is an expert of coping style and strategies.
