Sagar Vyavahare (B. V. Sc & A. H; M. V. Sc & A. H; MSc; PhD) is PhD researcher based in Ulster University, Coleraine. The topic of his PhD is Stable Gut Hormones and Related Analogues for Treatment of Fragility Fractures Associated with Type-2 Diabetes. He has done his bachelor’s in Veterinary and Animal Sciences from Maharashtra Animal and Fisheries Sciences University, Nagpur. He pursued his Masters in Animal Biotechnology from Anand Agricultural University. During his Masters, he worked on developing Interferon Gamma Assay for Rapid Diagnosis of Bovine Tuberculosis. In order to pursue his research interests he did his second Masters in Molecular Biology & Biotechnology from University of Hertfordshire. During his Masters in Hertfordshire, he worked on The Determination of important mutations using bioinformatics databases and resources for Retinoblastoma gene and the development of primers and probes for DNA based PCR analysis. He has worked as junior research fellow as well as senior research fellow in various projects. He got a travel grant during second year of his PhD and visited University of Angers to carry out his PhD. He has done mentoring for bachelor students. He has done teaching and demonstration to undergraduate students. He is a member of Royal Society of Biology and Bone Research Society.
