Biography

Dr. Sameer Gupta completed his Post Graduate degree in Zoology (2007) and his Doctorate (2015) from Department of Zoology, Institute of Science, Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi, India. He has intense interest in the role of neuroendocrine Pineal gland and its hormone melatonin in regulation of stress responses. Dr. Gupta works on melatonin mediated regulation of physiology and immune functions. He is presently working as a Research Associate at Department of Zoology, BHU on the role of melatonin in regulation of glucose homeostasis.
