Biography

Dr. Mariailaria Verderame is graduated cum laude in Biological Sciences at the University Federico II of Naples, subsequently gained the PhD title in Advanced Biology; she is also Developmental Biology and Comparative Endocrinology teaching assistant. She collaborates to educational and scientific activities at the Department of Biology of the University Federico II and at the Department of Science of Technology at the University Parthenope of Naples. In 2014, she won the Lisa De Conciliis prize for her studies in the field of molecular biology,awarded by the National Academy of Sciences, Letters and Arts of Naples. She is author of numerous scientific publications in peer-reviewed international journals and attend to many National and International conferences. She is in the Editorial Board of many scientific journals and is member of GEI “Gruppo Embriologico Italiano”
