Dr. Rohit Seth is an Associate Professor in the Department of Zoology, Guru Ghasidas Central University, Bilaspur (CG) India. He received his Ph.D. from Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi, India in 2002. Soon after receiving his Ph.D. degree, he started his Postdoctoral training in the University of Arkansas for Medical Science at Little Rock, AR, USA (from 2003 – 2006). He worked as a Postdoctoral associate / Instructor in the Department of Biomedical Science, College of Medicine at Florida State University, Tallahassee, FL (from 2006 – 2011). Subsequently, he got selected for the post of Associate Professor in Department of Zoology, Guru Ghasidas Central University, Bilaspur (CG) India, where he is serving till date. He is presently busy with teaching undergraduate and postgraduate students in field of cell and molecular biology, endocrinology and neuroscience. His research was supported by grants from the National Institute of Health, American Heart Association and grants from the Florida State University. He has authored many publications in peer reviewed journals and presented his work at many scientific meetings. He is a member of many professional societies and has received many awards of honor for his academic accomplishments.
