Dr. Mario D’Oria holds a MD in Medicine and Surgery with full marks and honour from the Univeristy of Perugia (Italy). He is Chief Resident of the Vascular and Endovascular Surgery service at the University Hospital of Trieste (Italy). He has also spent 6 months at the University Hospital of Nancy (France) as a clinical fellow. He holds certifications for BLSD, ACLS, ATLS and DSTC courses. He is responsible at his institution for mentorship activities of last year medical students. He his investigator for the ACST-2 randomized controlled trial and is responsible for data collection at his institution. He is Member of several professional societies (Italian Society of Vascular and Endovascular Surgery, European Society of Vascular Surgery, European Society for Cardiovascular and Endovascular Surgery). He is Editorial Board Member and Reviewer for several specialized journal in the field of Vascular Medicine and Vascular Surgery. He has published as first author or coauthor several works on his research field. He usually attends each year major international scientific conferences on his research field presenting its more recent researches.
