Dr. Wenhai Zhang is a professor of Mental Heath Center at Yancheng Institute of Technology and an associate director of Brain and Mental Health Lab at Chengdu University in China. He received a Ph.D in Developmental and Educational Psychology from Shanghai Normal University in 2011. He completed a research fellowship in Brain and Cognitive Neuroscience at Liaoning Normal University in 2014. He visited Washington University in St Louise as a senior researcher and took part in the HCP at Deanna M. Brach’s Lab in 2015. Now he is a Professor in psychology, cognitive neuroscience, and genetics. Dr. Zhang is particular interested in using congitive and affective neuroscience methods such as EEG, fMRI, fNIRS, rTMS, and tDCS to study the neural mechanism of emotion regulation, anhedonia, reward processing, and decision-making in adolescents. Dr. Zhang is also interested in using imaging genetics to study the developmental neurobiological mechanism of MDD, suicide, or anxiety during adoelscence.
