Biography

Dr. Victy Wong is currently working as a Medical Physicist at the Department of Clinical Oncology, Queen Mary Hospital, Hong Kong, and specialized in Radiation Therapy. She received her M.Sc. in Medical Physics from the Aberdeen University, UK, and Ph.D. in 4D Radiation Treatment for Thoracic Carcinoma, from the University Of Liverpool, UK. She has been awarded Chartered Clinical Scientist status by the Royal Charter Science Council, UK since 2006. She was appointed as Honorary Assistant Professor by the Hong Kong University from 2012-2015. Her research interest includes Stereotactic Radiosurgery and Radiotherapy, 4D Radiation Treatment for Thoracic Carcinoma, Quality Control on 3D Conformal Radiotherapy, Dosimetry and Quality Control on Brachytherapy and Application of Ultrasound in haemodynamic monitoring. She has published more than 30 articles in press with over 1000 citations. She is an Editorial Board Member, Journal Reviewer for serval peer reviewed journals.
