Biography

Dr. Dilip Mukherjee, Ph. D is a retired Professor in the Department of Zoology, Kalyani University, India. An endocrinologist with training and research experience in endocrinology laboratory, Visva- Bharati, Santiniketan, India and Hormone Research Centre, Chonnam National University, Korea, Prof. Mukherjee served 35 years as faculty member in the Department of Zoology, KU with responsibility in teaching and research on basic and applied endocrinology and reproductive physiology. Twenty four research students have been awarded Ph. D degree and three are waiting to submit their Ph. D thesis shortly under his direct supervision. He handled twelve research projects from various agencies of Govt. of India and published more than seventy papers in International and National Journals of repute including three book chapters. Prof. Mukherjee served and serving as member in various Scientific Advisory Board and Expert Committee and is the Member of Editorial Board of many International Journals. Prof. Mukherjee visited many countries like Japan, Korea, Thailand, Bangaladesh, China, Taiwan and USA for delivering scientific lectures. Prof. Mukherjee served as Visiting Professor in many Universities of India and is the Academy Fellow of West Bengal Science and Technology and Member of National Academy of Science, India.
