Dr. Abdolreza Ardeshirylajimi holds a PhD in Biophysics from the Research and Sciences University of Tehran (2013). He is currently an assistant professor in the Department of Tissue Engineering and Applied Cell Sciences, School of Advanced Technologies in Medicine, Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences, Tehran, Iran. He is working on the tissue engineering and regenerative medicine with a focus on induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs), Mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) and biocompatible scaffolds for the orthopedic disorders. He established Osteogenic and Chondrogenic differentiation process of iPSCs and MSCs on 2D and 3D culture systems. His motivation is use a multi-disciplinary approach in the scaffold fabrication process by applying micro- and nano-scale technologies to controlling cell behavior. He published more than 50 papers in this field.
Dr. Abdolreza Ardeshirylajimi Research Interest are: Induced pluripotent stem cells, Adult stem cells, Nano and Micro synthetic and natural scaffolds, surface modification, bone tissue engineering, bone animal modeling, signal pathway.
