Dr. Manish Kumar Gupta is presently working as Assistant Professor, Department of Bioinformatics, University Institute of Engineering and Technology, Chhatrapati Shahu Ji Maharaj University, Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh India. Dr. Manish Kumar Gupta has done his M.Sc.- Biotechnology from University of Hyderabad, Telangana, India, one of the premier organization in India and later he joined M.Tech (IT) program specialization in Bioinformatics from Indian Institute of Information Technology – Allahabad, Uttar Pradesh, Institute of National Importance. Dr. Gupta did his Ph.D. in Bioinformatics , where he used Systems Biology approach to reconstruct an integrated metabolic pathway for thyroid disorder, from Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow, UP. India. Dr. Gupta, has gained more than twelve years of teaching and research experience in the interdisciplinary fields Bioinformatics and is expertise in systems biology, pathway modelling, docking, QSAR, molecular dynamics simulation, Phylogenetics analysis and Rnomics. Dr. Gupta has published more than twelve research paper. Our primary focus are the pathways modeling, simulation, data analysis of non-communicable diseases such as thyroid disorder, diabetes, cancer, arthritis etc to find out the key regulatory element participating in the disease pathways. To investigate those, we combine computational analysis with biological tools & databases with large scale data sets generated by state-of-the-art high-throughput sequencing technology. Dr. Gupta is having Excellent communication skills with a strong commitment to scientific collaboration and innovation.
