Antonietta Impagliazzo Ph.D., works as Principal Scientist at Janssen Vaccines & Prevention B.V. in Leiden, Netherlands. During her PhD and postdoctoral work, she focused on protein-protein interaction via NMR and other biophysical techniques. In 2010 she joined Janssen Vaccines & Prevention (former Crucell Vaccine Institute) as responsible for the design of Universal Influenza antigens via rational protein optimization and library design. This work published as A. Impagliazzo et al. on Science (2015) has led to several patents applications and a Sol-Award Johnson & Johnson for Innovation, Collaboration, and Business achievements. More recently she is responsible for vaccine design against bacterial infectious disease and neurodegenerative ones.
Antonietta Impagliazzo Main interests are protein design and biophysical characterization.
