Dr. Viktor Ivanovitch Goudochnikov was graduated as physician-biochemist from Medico-Biological Faculty of 2nd Moscow Medical School. He had obtained PhD degree on Biochemistry in the Institute of Experimental Endocrinology and Hormone Chemistry, Moscow, Russia. He worked in the Endocrinological Research Center, Moscow, Russia and in Federal University of Santa Maria and Unijui, Brazil, studying the pharmacologic effects of hormones, especially glucocorticoids on experimental models in vivo and in vitro. He participates in the International Society for DOHaD, as a member of its Council, studying age-related dynamics and gender differences of morbidity and mortality caused by various disorders, including respiratory diseases in Southern region of Latin America. During the last years he elaborates the concept of ontopathogeny, focusing on the role of stress hormones and proteins in development and aging.
