Panagiotis Lepetsos, MD, MSc, PhD, was born in Athens, Greece. He studied the degree of Medicine at the Medical School of Athens University, where he also obtained his master in Metabolic Bone Diseases and his PhD in genetics of osteoarthritis. He has finished his training in orthopaedic surgery in KAT Hospital, Athens, Greece where he gained experience in Orthopaedic Elective and Trauma Surgery. He is an author of 15 papers published in PUBMED, and participated in more than 100 presentations in national and international conferences. He is a member of the Editorial Board of 4 international journals and an invited reviewer in 19 pubmed indexed journals. He is a fellow of the Société Internationale de Chirurgie Orthopédique et de Traumatologie (SICOT).
