Dr Sridatta Rajur completed his undergraduation in Medicine from Karnataka Institute of Medical Sciences, Hubli, Karnataka, India and MD Psychiatry from the prestigious National Institute of Mental Health & Neuro Sciences (NIMHANS, Institute of National Importance), Bangalore, India. He continued working at NIMHANS for 1.5 year as a Senior Registrar and is currently working as Assistant Professor of Psychiatry at East Point College of Medical Sciences & Research Center, Bangalore, India. He is actively involved in Mental Health training to undergraduate medicine trainees and Nursing trainees. He is also delivering Community Mental Health Services.
Dr Sridatta is interested in evidence based practise. His research interest are in Geriatric Mood Disorders, Dementia, Schizophrenia and Addiction Medicine. He was privileged to attend International Psychogeriatric Association(IPA), International Congress and deliver important findings of his research work at San Francisco, CA in September 2016. He is also interested to device newer strategies to educate community about Mental health and to minimise stigma associated with it.
