Dr. Joydip Kundu is Associate Research Scientist in the Department of Chemical Engineering, Northeastern University, USA. His current research focuses on development of biomimetic matrices, investigating the cellular interaction to the matrices and their ability to integrate within the host tissue. He has expertise in retinal tissue engineering and regenerative medicine, with a particular focus on the analysis of retinal progenitor cell response to materials developed from extracellular matrix in the context of retinal regeneration strategies. His research interests include biologically inspired materials, tissue engineering, regenerative medicine and drug delivery.
Joydip Kundu Research Interests are Silk protein based biomaterials, Cell/organ printing/RP Technology, Tissue engineering (bone and cartilage), Retinal repair and regeneration, regenerative medicine; stem cells, biologically inspired materials, Nanoparticles and drug delivery.
