Dr. Giulia Genoni is a pediatrician at the Division of Pediatrics, Maggiore della Carità University Hospital and a researcher at the Department of Health Sciences, University of Piemonte Orientale in Novara, Italy. She is attending the PhD program with a research project entitled: “Pediatric obesity and cardiovascular dysfunction: searching for early markers of damage”. Her current work is focused on the presence of cardiovascular impairment in obese children and adolescents and its relationship with metabolic alterations, inflammation and oxidative stress markers and adipokines. She is also interested in growth mechanisms and pathogenesis of growth disturbances in pediatric age. She attended the “SIEDP school” of pediatric endocrinology and diabetology and she is a member of the Italian Society of Pediatric Endocrinology and Diabetology (SIEDP).

Dr. Genoni research interests include: pediatric obesity, metabolism, cardiovascular system, neonatal endocrinology, growth and short stature.
