Jacques Quintin is full professor of ethics at the University of Sherbrooke (Canada). His research focus on topics such as ethics, phenomenology, hermeneutics, epistemology, outreaching, homelessness, humanities and spirituality. He has carried out research in the field of ethics in mental health, in clinical encounter and teaching ethics for professional health providers. He is the founder of the Association francophone internationale de l’éthique de la relation d’aide et de la santé mentale (Afierasm). Authors and editors of many books and articles, he has authored books, many book chapters and peer-reviewed journal publications. He is now developing a new way to think ethical issues in community health care.
