Biography

Dr. Danny Hoi Fan CHOW graduated from the University of Hong Kong and received his Cardiology Fellowship in 2012 and his Advance Internal Medicine Fellowship in 2013 from the Hong Kong College of Physician. He is also a fellow from Hong Kong College of Cardiology (HKCC), a member of European Association of Percutaneous Cardiovascular Interventions (EAPCI), and American Heart Association (AHA). He received his overseas fellowship training at Rigshospitalet, Copenhagen in structural heart intervention. He earned numbers of presentation awards both locally and internationally from HKCC (ASM 2013), the Hong Kong Society of Transcatheter Endo-cardiovascular Therapeutics (HKSTENT 2013), Hong Kong Heart Foundation PCI Case Competition at Cardiovascular Interventional Summit (CIS 2014), and Transcatheter Cardiovascular Therapeutics Asia Pacific (TCTAP 2014) in recent years. He is currently an honorary clinical assistant professor of The Chinese University of Hong Kong and an associate consultant at Princess Margaret Hospital, Hong Kong.


Research Interest

Dr. Danny Hoi Fan CHOW main interest is interventional cardiology and has multiple publications on left atrial appendage occlusion.
