Biography

Rafael Ludemann Camargo was born in Brazil in 1986. Graduated in Biological Science by the State University of Western of Paraná (UNIOESTE - Brazil). He has a Master's degree in Biological Sciences with an emphasis in cell biology by the University of Maringa (UEM - Brazil). He has a Ph.D in Functional and Molecular Biology with an emphasis in Physiology, performed at Institute of Biology from the University of Campinas (UNICAMP - Brazil). He is currently doing the second postdoctoral research at the Laboratory of Clinical Investigation of insulin resistance at the Faculty of Medical Sciences (UNICAMP) and also in the Institute of Pharmacology and Toxicology in the Center of Biomedicine at University of Bonn – Germany.


Research Interest

Rafael Ludemann Camargo, Research interests are physiology with emphasis on Endocrine Physiology, acting on the following topics: insulin and leptin signaling, obesity, insulin secretion, autonomic nervous system, hypothalamic control of hunger and satiety, energy homeostasis (food consumption and energy expenditure) and adenosine signaling.
