Prof. Dr. Hongqiang Li received his PhD degree from Tianjin Polytechnic University, Tianjin, China. He is currently a professor in school of electronics and information engineering at Tianjin Polytechnic University, Tianjin, China, and performs research activity at Tianjin Key Laboratory of Optoelectronic Detection Technology and Systems. The main goal of his research is to build a medical smart textiles based on novel biomedical sensors, which is centered on monitoring various physiological parameters (e.g., human body temperature, heartbeat monitoring, heart sound monitoring, ECG monitoring, pulse monitoring, blood pressure monitoring). He has published more than 110 journal and conference papers. He has been either the principal investigator or co-investigator on numerous national research grants. He is a reviewer for a grant awarding body and professional journals.
Dr. Hongqiang Li research interests are Biomedical engineering, novel biomedical sensors, electrical bio impedance, optical and acoustic measurement techniques
