Dr. Yair Morad is Head of the Assaf Harofeh Medical Center Pediatric Ophthalmology Service. He graduated medical school from Rapaport School of Medicine, Technion University, Haifa, Israel. Dr. Morad served as the Head of the Israel Defense Forces Medical Research Unit and later completed a fellowship in pediatric ophthalmology at The Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto. Dr. Morad is a professor of Ophthalmology in the Tel Aviv Sackler School of Medicine and the Head of the Tel Aviv University Certified Orthoptics Program. He is a member of the scientific committee of the World Society of Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus, former Head of the Israeli Association for Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus, and member of the American Association of Pediatrics Ophthalmology and Strabismus.Dr. Morad has widely published in the pediatric ophthalmology peer-reviewed literature and is the author of three book chapters.
