Dr. Roberta Lima is a researcher and teacher belonging to the Center For Biological Science and Health in the Federal University the West of Bahia (Bahia, Brazil). She granted her Biomedical degree in University of Mogi das Cruzes (Sao Paulo, Brazil) in 1996 and her Master in Nephrological Science in Federal University of Sao Paulo (Sao Paulo, Brazil) in 1999. In 2005 she obtained her doctorate in Nephrological Science in Federal University of Sao Paulo under the supervision of Dr. Mirian Aparecida Boim. In 2009 she worked as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in the Department of Physiology and Byophysics in the University of Mississippi Medical Center (Jackson, MS) under the supervison of Dr. Jane F. Reckelhoff She has a wide expertise in measurement of blood by radiotelemetry technique in rats, ovarectomy technique in rats, and cell culture.
Roberta Lima research interests are postmenopausal hypertension; polycystic ovary syndrome in animal models; metabolic syndrome.
